About Me: Willow is an approximately 4-5 year old red heeler (?) mix. She is spayed, crate/house trained, and... has been through beginning obedience, intermediate obedience, and dog agility classes. She is definitely a herding dog that loves to be with her people, and is anxious to please. We adopted her from a shelter about 4 years ago. She has been a very sweet companion that gets along with our 3 cats well. Unfortunately, she and our other dog of 9 years do not get along so famously, and as the older dog develops more age-related quirks, the problem has escalated. We have reached a point where we feel that separating the two dogs will be best for both of them. Willow would be happiest as an only dog. She is extremely loyal and does get jealous when she is not the center of attention. She is a high energy dog that loves to play and go for walks/runs. She is completely up to date on all her vaccinations. She prefers to be in her crate during the day , as she does have some separation anxiety when her people leave. She also likes to be with her people in the house when they are home, preferably within petting distance.
